TourBlaze is an online tourist information centre (TIC). We publish leisure and tourist information for display on a wide range of electronic devices. Our authors create content in a standard form and we assemble it on their behalf, into a fully functional electronic guide and then promote it through our online TIC and partner distribution channels.

We publish all kinds of leisure and tourist information, from a simple tourist attraction brochure, to full city and rural guides. Content includes video, audio, photo's, maps and text.

We publish for as many different types of electronic device as possible, giving the greatest possible access to our guides. Supported devices include standard PC's, mobile phones, smart phones, pocket PC's, PDA's, media players and ultra-small laptops. Our guides support advanced features, such as GPS and streaming media.

We usually offer users free access to our guides online. We make money from advertising in the guides and we split this revenue with the guide author. Some guides are purely promotional, tourist attractions for example. We normally charge to download guides and this revenue is again split with the guide author.

We offer the ability to not only access our guides over a standard internet connection, mobile or wi-fi network, but also to download them and store them in the memory of a pocket device. Access to downloaded guides and access via internet or wi-fi is usually free to users. Many mobile phone networks are now offering flat rates for data.

Our pocket guides are intended for use by the general public. Typical TourBlaze clients include city & county authorities, tourist attractions, local SME's and individual authors. If you would like to talk to us about publishing your content, we would like to hear from you.
