About TourBlaze Picture Guides

TourBlaze is a collection of high quality FREE picture guides, which use plenty of photographs to show you what places actually look like.

We believe there is still truth in the old expression a picture paints a thousand words. Therefore, rather than describe what a place looks like using loads of words, we actually show you using plenty of beautiful photographs. You will still find words, but we hope that our photo's paint a more accurate picture of what a place is like and this will help you decide if you wish to go there.

You will find an eclectic mix of picture guides in our ever growing collection. We have historic cities, sunny beaches, picturesque villages and some really unique individual places. We do not claim to cover everywhere, but what we do have is an exciting collection of high quality picture guides to some of the most beautiful and fascinating places.

Do you know where the term TourBlaze actually comes from? it refers to a visual marker on a trail and is placed for others to follow (see Trail blazing). We hope that our pictures become visual markers for you too, highlighting places that you may decide to visit and discover for yourself.
